Viren Engineers and Contractors (VEC) was established in Pune in 2021 and works across Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
We started biomining at the Jalgaon dump yard in 2021 with one Poclain and one screening machine. Today the same in-house approach runs through all our work: Tata and JCB Poclains, Tata Hywa tippers, an Aquarius RMC plant, a Schwing Stetter self-loading mixer, an Alpha tower crane and seven Kleemann, Extec and Sandvik screens.
Because we don't wait on hired equipment, we can price competitively and mobilise quickly.

General civil works, RCC construction, excavation and industrial structures such as factory sheds, with concrete from our own RMC plant and lifting by our Alpha tower crane.
Major and minor bridges, arch bridges, Kolhapur-type weirs, culverts and roads, including work in river and monsoon conditions.
Water supply structures for Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran (MJP): elevated and ground surface reservoirs, jack wells, water wells and canal construction.
Large-diameter circular RCC digesters up to 32 m, ring beam foundations for DRANCO digesters, and the reinforcement, formwork and concreting behind them.
Solar panel installation and the civil works around it: on-site batching for concrete roads, module mounting structures and power station buildings.
VEC runs complete mine-to-crusher operations: drilling, blasting, boulder excavation, loading, haulage and unloading into the crusher hopper, plus overburden removal (mitti and red stone). We also operate a stone crusher that is upgraded each season to suit project needs.
Seven tracked mobile screens serve our own mining and biomining sites, and are deployed with operators on a rental basis to other contractors and urban local bodies.

Before founding VEC in 2021, Mr. Nitin Chavan spent more than two decades building bridges, weirs, reservoirs, factories, a solar plant and a CBG plant as a contractor. VEC was built on this experience. The projects below are his personal track record, completed before VEC existed.
